It’s 2017 and it’s a great time to be in Houston because Downtown Houston is prettier than ever.I’m an artist, MUA and skincare consultant. I moved here from the Midwest five years ago. I’m a city girl all the way and when I first moved to Houston, I was fortunate to live downtown. I was able to walk the streets of downtown at night without the distractions of the work day crowds. I couldn’t believe how beautiful and modern this city is.
Being from the Midwest, I was used to the “Old World” architecture
and the nostalgia of the hood. Houston is different. Houston is slick,
polished and high-end. When I walked down the streets, I felt like this
is a place where people should “Sparkle and Shine.”
